1. List ways in which you are involved in promoting technology and increasing your own professional growth and leadership. This could be through involvement in professional organizations, grade level groups, professional training you provide, professional learning communities, global communities you are involved in via the web such as nings, blogs, diigo groups, or other educator networks, a school network, district committee work, sharing with school leaders, etc.
Through my Diigo and Delicious accounts I receive numerous articles that I find helpful. I not only share these with my peers but have also passed them along to my administrator and other teachers who are not in my district. Throughout the school year, each grade level gets together to discuss concerns and share ideas. This would be a great time to share some of the articles and other information I have been able to receive. I also think that this information would also be great to share with our district technology coordinator for him to pass along to others within out district.

1a. List at least 2 ways you can better improve your professional practice of modeling lifelong learning and leading the way for promoting and demonstrating effective use of digital tools and resources.
One way to improve my professional practice is to not only collaborate with my grade level peer but also with others peers in my school. Many of them tend to turn away from new technology or technology in general and I think by sharing some of the great resources I have come across, they might become more interested. I can also continue to attend informational meetings or seminars on technology. Technology is only going to continue to change and grow and become a larger part of our teaching so it is important to stay up to date and current with as much as possible.

2. List resources that can help you grow in this areaThe NET Standards are an important resource for me to continue to reference. I can also subscribe to educational magazines featuring technology and ask to receive information from my principal as he visits workshops seminars. .
